Ride is L300 exceed with 4g63 sohc.
Problem is engine not idling anymore. It starts pero patay agad pag di apakan ang gas pedal. Tried adjusting the idle screw pero ganun pa rin. Not working, maybe?
Any advice/suggestions? Before I bring it to an untrusted shop? The issue before was it idles high like 1100rpm, sometimes it gets stuck at 1500rpm. Now I overtook a car yesterday, after shifting up the rpm dropped to like 200-300rpm. I managed to get home but tried starting it today and this happened.
I live here in sta rosa Laguna. I don't trust any shops around here. I'd like to bring it to kamuning pero malayo talaga. Kelangan ko magka menor sya kahit 500rpm lang so I can drive it. I don't really know a lot about carbs but if someone would walk me through I'd really appreciate it. Medyo malikot din sa apparato.
Baka po may maipayo kayo sa akin.

June 5th, 2013 05:53 PM #63Check mo muna local autoshops kung may repair kit sila para sa carb mo.
Kung may spare time and vehicle ka, [wede mo pag-praktisan yang carb mo.
Palagay ko barado lang yan.
IMO, madali lang magkalas at magbuo uli ng carb. Ang mahirap jan ay yung adjustments para tama ang air-fuel ratio.
Isang tip jan sa pagbaklas ng carb: may mga bulitas minsan sa loob. Ingat ka lang at tandaan kung gaano kalaki yun bulitas na dapat isalpak. Minsan baka 2 o tatlo yun.
Yung basics naman at markahan yung hoses na naka connect sa labas ng carb.

bakit di mo nalang tanggalin ang carb mo at dalhin mo sa kamuning? iwas sakit ng ulo. pag butterfly ang problema, di kaya sa repair kit yan. may i suggest rommels shop sa kamuning. kaya nila ibalik sa OEM setting yan. ikaw na rin magkabit pagbalik mo. isang oras lang yan, tapos na. mahirap magkumpuni ng carb kung di mo kabisado, very complicated sa dami ng parts sa loob.

June 6th, 2013 11:52 AM #69Salamat sir. Yun talaga gusto ko gawin. Try ko baklasin. Lakas loob nalang ako, baka kasi may mahulog o maiwan o may mali. Kaya naman yata i-set ang air/fuel ratio kahit hindi nakakabit?
