    hi,

as related to my previous inquiries, this is related to carb adjustments.

the car is not stalling even if the butterfly is closed. it is still idling. what seems to be problem here? i am using a variable venturi carb aka piston type.

Uhm... is it supposed to stall? Don't many newer carbs have a built-in idle up that provides a trickle of air even with the main butterfly closed?

seems like i found my problem. the problem is just me. i placed the accelerator cable too tight to the point that it already pulls the throttle lever above idle.
