Puwede kung kaya mong ma limit ang rev mo ng less than 3K.

Although for some, recommend nila ang "soft" break in - follow the manufacturer recommendations. Iba namana ay "hard" break in. I hataw to 80% (yata) of the RPM.

Medyo conflicting ang bali-balita sa break-in procedures. Some people will recommend you extend the engine as much as you can because this will supposedly reinforce the piston rings and reduce the incidence of blow-by later on.

I've had friends who just drove in their usual manner after getting their cars. No problems to speak of naman afterward.

Most modern engines don't need a gentle break-in procedure. If anything they've already been broken-in at the factory, usually...or so I've heard.

talaga po mga sirs? kahit more than 100kph ang takbo? para kseng boring kung maintain ko sya ng 70 or 80kph e,hehehe. what time p kaya ako makarating ng baguio nun,hehehe. sabi kse sa service dept. ng honda * least daw nasa 500 na mileage nya para maitakbo ko ng 100kph. e. ngek!

yung isang casa(HONDA) dito sa QC eh galing pa sa ibang casa sa probinsya hinahataw hataw daw nila lalo na kung FD sarap daw hatawin sabi ng casa delivery boy papunta dito sa manila.para daw matest kung may factory defect..ganun pala yun.

Pero under warranty pa po car nyo, mahirap na. But it is really tempting, at ang hirap siguro mag-drive ng para ka ng matanda. Ilang buwan kaya bibilangin before maihataw yang honda mo with the traditional break-in method.

Kung long distance ka palagi, follow the manufacturers recommendation na lang siguro. Daya-dayain mo lang ng konte, 200km/h paminsan minsan.

Wag mo lang i-over rev. I think ang sinasabi ni EG ay 3K to 3.5K lang dapat ang max rev ng engine mo.

Last December I got my Honda City iDSI CVT. From Honda Alabang after picking-up the unit we went straight to Baguio. I drove the car the normal way. On hi-way I went more than 140kph but never floor the gas. So far my ride is still ok, never got toasted.

3000-3500 RPM. Engine speed po ito, you measure this with the big tachometer right smack in the middle of your FD's dashboard.

Every mark there is x1000...so 3000-3500 RPM plays between the numbers 3 and 4 on the tachometer.

I guess what people are saying is you can take it up to Baguio pero keep the engine speed to a minimum and stick to it if and when you can. Personally, hindi ko "hahatawin" in the sense that I rev the heck out of it, a good long drive on the highway is good for the car but the change in engine speed should be gradual, wag mo bibiglain.

I guess the saying, "When in doubt, don't" holds true here. Depende na sa iyo kung ang tinutukoy eh yung paghataw, or yung pagsunod sa sinabi ng casa.
