    Pang transmission ba? Usually iba nag pang transmission filter.. madalas screen mesh lang yan.. not like sa engine na madaming pleats yung filter..

    Depends on the specific vehicle. Subarus have spin-on ATF filter while some Hondas have an in-line ATF filter in addition to the strainer..

    Kung frequent oil change o no plans to extend oil use, pwede na regular equivalent filters. Waste of money kung upgrade to bigger filters then every 5k kms or 6months ang palit. Applicable siguro yang bigger FF upgrade sa 1yr/10k kms oil change interval.
    i'm talking about those honda replacement atf in-line filters usually sold at lazada or shopee bro. walang bypass feature iyong mga iyon kasi i've already seen 2 dissected
    tins of it. kaya naman pala it's a fraction of the cost of the genuine article...notwithstanding its inferior filter material din pala.

    iyon nga iyong nasa 2nd pic ni bro oj. maliit lang siya parang ngang oversized chorizo eh

    pero may 2ndary filter din iyong honda nung tulad ng akin and ka-generation niya sa loob ng transmission bell housing sa pagkaka-alam ko.

    Ito meron naman stocks.
    Kung sa Mirage parang pwede yung WL10489. Minsan kasi kahit pareho ang thread, yung ibang specs ng oil filter hindi pasok sa ibang sasakyan. Yang WL7134 pasok ang thread niya sa 4m40 na engine kasi same for adventure/strada na 4d56 na makina, pero hindi papasok all the way kasi mahaba ang metal tube sa 4m40. Need talaga yung Vic C313 or Wix WL7199.

    For 4D56, 4M40, 4M41 engines - thread size is M26x1.5;
    For 4N15 - thread size is M20x1.5
    For cross referencing, the filters may differ in width and/or length but the thread size MUST be exactly the same.

    Konti lang naman ata price difference between the OEM Mitsu. oil filter and these aftermarket brands.
    What's so good about them that parang mas preferred pa gamitin over OEM minsan?
    Just asking lang naman, because maybe there's something you guys know na hindi ko nakikita, so kindly share.

    My take kasi is air, fuel and oil filters are critical engine components, so I stick with OEM because sigurado 100% up to design spec sila (as long as hindi fake/imitation yung nabili of course), even if compared to reputable aftermarket brands like Vic, Wix, Fleetman, etc.

    Some oil filters like Baldwin, Donaldson, mas maganda ang materials at filtration rate compared sa mga OEM na filter. Mas mahal pa nga mga yan compared sa OEM.
