June 28th, 2021 04:53 PM #1021Mag hohoard lang kapag scarce(kulang) ang supply katulad ng tissue paper katulad sa Australia - ito understandable, pero kung readily available naman ang stocks parang sa buffet why act like a patay gutom attitude like you?
Ask your suki seller na elementary friend mo why is he shifting to WIX from Baldwin.
I actually don't care kung maghoard ng Baldwin, WIX or other brands, economical choice nilang patulugin yung pera nila instead of using it on useful things such as other investments or business ventures. Their money their choice kung paano nila gagastusin yan.
Ang tanong why are the Baldwin dealers shifting to WIX? Bakit hindi mo matanggap na a new brand na ni-relaunch lang sa market is becoming more and more available and masyado kang nag propromote against it as if meron kang vested interest.

Sa Honda B1402 eh long version ang upgrade ko-B1431 to hold more oil and more surface area(may ganyang upgrade option ba sa Wix?) Take note more surface area=more filtration, the lesser the flow = better filtration.
Malayo parin ang presyo sa casa like for isuzu yong dating P540 lube filter now P1.3k na, around 300-400 lang yung Baldwin.
Air filters P1-2k, sa Clover(Sakura) less than 300(180-250) - yung Denso coolgear lang ang mejo tumapat sa presyo but I choose Indonesia over China kaya Sakura parin ako.
Kaya nga sabi ko i'L give Wix more time, 2019 lang pala nagsimula sa market kaya nun nagtanong ako simpleng crossreference eh wala maibigay. For now doon muna sa sure available. Buttomline it all equates as consumable wear items, papalitan din at certain point with the same purpose, same performance, same same lang but at cheaper cost kaya the best is what the budget and preference could afford. Lahat yan best basta within specs, accessible, at hindi counterfeit.

June 28th, 2021 05:09 PM #1023How many years pala ang P240 each?
"Sa Honda B1402 eh long version ang upgrade ko-B1431 to hold more oil and more surface area(may ganyang upgrade option ba sa Wix?" - Yung standard oil filter ni WIX has two types for Honda application short and tall one. WL7520 ang short one and WL7134 yung tall one. Since originally Honda sells 2 types of oil filters one is short and stubby one yung old type which is 15400-PM3-003 and tall and slimmer one current model which is 15400-PLC-003.
If you really want a real upgrade sa WIX then wait for the WIX XP fully synthetic oil filter ni WIX if ilaunch ng official distributor sa Philippines.
"Buttomline it all equates as consumable wear items, papalitan din at certain point with the same purpose, same performance, same same lang but at cheaper cost kaya the best is what the budget and preference could afford. Lahat yan best basta within specs, accessible, at hindi counterfeit." - Why this statement though we are in a thread that is looking for BEST Oil/Fuel filters hence the title BEST right hindi naman pinost ni *Ry_Tower na thread is BUDGET filters? Right?
Nakakapag taka lang sa Baldwin if we use a grain of salt with your statement, bakit dati ang mura ng Baldwin then kung kailan na according to *kagalingan nakilala yung Baldwin biglang tumaas ng sobra sobra yung prices nila? So sino ba talaga ang nanamantala?
What is most important now is ano ang pinaka latest updates and current events. Is the prices of Baldwin reasonable now? Are they as available as what *kagalingan is implying na you can purchase it at merely 3 locations?
Hahaha
Paano ko malalaman or magegets kung bakit kayo nag hoard in the first place eh nagwithold ng information yung isang swindler diyan para lang magmukhang reason na sobrang demand ng filter brand yun pala nag offer lang ng mababang presyo.

When I asked this query, I meant to know what will provide the best filtartion, the longest, durable and not exorbitant in price, added bonus yung easily available (salamat online selling). Budget filters like Vic, Sakura and Daiwa(crap) are obviously disqualified hehe
Baldwin and Wix talaga nag-stand-out sa mga yan plus Bosch filters. Ganun talaga eh.
Hoarding cannot affect price this much for this product as you don't buy them as often as rice or other basic commodities.

June 29th, 2021 11:58 PM #1028Will try their engine air filter for the innova. Balitaan ko kayo.
Tried the JS asakashi air filter for the MS. The paper filter itself looks great at mas marami pleats nya compared to stock.

I hope you're still receiving my PM's. What is the Wix model number in the Lazada link you gave me for my 2018 Subaru XV? The pic in that listing does not show any model number and the seller sent me a WL7134 which is not used for a Subaru. The problem is the seller no longer replies which is really odd because he sent me a message about the delay in shipping a few days ago.

July 6th, 2021 02:23 PM #1030Yeah Herrick is a local filter manufacturer, pero as of now wala pang testing about its efficiency, durability and quality. Dai-wa is also a local manufacturer of filters pero they are producing one of the cheapest & lowest quality filters sa market.
I agree with *Ry_Tower We should support local, BUT(a big but) only if they are providing us a good ratio of the best quality product to value for our money. If they are just in it for the profit then wala din use to support it. Since Dai-wa a local manufacturer of filters in the Philippines is just basically manufacturing low quality and cheapest filters for the sake of just selling a product regardless if it is harmful sa vehicle mo or hindi.
Choice I would have made as well.
