Just asking lang naman, because maybe there's something you guys know na hindi ko nakikita, so kindly share.

My take kasi is air, fuel and oil filters are critical engine components, so I stick with OEM because sigurado 100% up to design spec sila (as long as hindi fake/imitation yung nabili of course), even if compared to reputable aftermarket brands like Vic, Wix, Fleetman, etc.
See reply of sir testament. Filtration ability kasi mahalaga at proven kasi by actual independent tests specially in the US na maraming used oil analysis shop.

wixeurope website lists the 7119 as the filter for the jimny jb74 but i can't find it anymore

what's the risk of using a similarly sized one like the 7131 ?

7119 seems to be smaller so it can't handle contaminants as much as 7131. Fitment is the only issue imho. If it fits, okay yan.

BD28 din ideal sa L200 pick-up ko noon but BD7028 its big brother can also be used. No issue. Fitment lang talaga kasi nga taller ang BD7028 vs BD28

yeah 7119 is really tiny (exact same size as original suzuki filter)

they only differ in the "H" dimension (height) so i have to check if there's enough clearance coz it's right above the front axle

you think the differences in spring rate of the bypass valves will be a problem?

Nope, won't be a problem. Same lang sila halos ng bypass valve setting.

Not the same brand but it seems both models do have same bypass rating, size lang talaga difference. Plus I don't think you would be using it for more than 20,000kms, enough to clog the filter or make the oil so thick so as not to flow that easily anymore. hehe
