40 is quite thick for my gasoline engine imo I would prefer a grade 30.

what is the recommended oil grade in the owner's manual?

Either 20 or 30 for honda gas fed engine. If this is for diesel then im ok with 40.

Ow20 synthetic is the one used by Honda casas on their gas engines. They also have 5w30 semi-synthetic and 10w30 mineral for short intervals (3 months or 5k km).

5w30 synthetic is quite common in the market these days so this will do for most new gas engines, NA or turbo.

This shows that their oil filters are sub-par with other oil filter brands, 91% lang maximum at 40 microns? That's too big, a human hair is approximately 70 microns.

Then nag match nga sila with the old testing ng Finish Magazine Tuulilasi noon 1995 up to the present hindi parin nagimprove ang filtration efficiency ng VIC, since based on their own testing:

VIC testing of their own filters:
81-91% filtration rate at 40 microns

Tuulilasi independent testing:
87% at 5 minutes at 40 microns
81% at 10 minutes at 40 microns

Just finish watching the oil filter video but no conclusion from the video of which is better among wix, bosch and ac delco..... bosch filter media is longer but not as wide as wix.
