    since i'm province-based i used -

Mobil Delvac 1 5W-40, quite pricey but the factors i considered this oil:

    - excellent engine wear protection (smooth on cold start ups & acceleration)
    - superior extended oil drain potential (for me 7k - 8k change oil)
    - provides fuel savings (somehow efficient)
    - reduced oil consumption (this 100% sure, no top up since change oil again)
    - for commercial vehicle applications (14 wheelers, truckers, heavy duty machineries use this)

matindi application kaya matindi din ang price, hehehe

ito ang ginamit ko sa pajero. 650*7 = 4500 full synthetic
    then CASA maintenance 2500
7k to 8k per change oil

I use Petron Rallye (semi synth), kasi may Petron Fleet Card ako. Used to have RP on my Revo, pero since hindi naman supercar ang Revo, I hardly feel the need for it. Prior to my Petron Fleet Card, I always used Caltex Havoline Energy (blue packaging, semi-synth). Happy ako with Caltex lubes. I also use their Power Flushing Oils, Radiator Coolant, and Power Steering/ATF fluid.

I want to try out Castrol rin, pero I can't seem to find whether a particular product is mineral, semi-synth, or fully synth. Parang walang nakalagay sa packaging nila. Can someone confirm this? Is Castrol GTX (white) mineral or semi-synth? Yung Magnatec (green) is semi or fully synth?

Magnatec is semi synth. Pricey for semi, parang 6xx.xx/L.

Saan ba available AMSoil? RP gamit ko ngayon sa Isuzu, 4,000km na, parang di ko mapapaabot ng 10,000km before changing, medyo dark na. Another thing, packaging of RP is per quart so actually price is 600+/L.

    Gusto kong subukan Delvac 1.

I am now using castrol magnatek sa ZZ namin.

Just bought the 4L container for P1,154.xx sa Ace hardware. Kung per liter, P299.xx lang naman. Basing it on price, it does seem like Magnatec is semi-synth (aka synth blend). Try ko ngayon sa LPG Revo ko.

Interestingly, Magnatec has higher API rating at SM. Castrol Edge has SL lang yata.
