It's semi-synthetic, it's the same oil we use on our past turbo rallye car & current NA rallye/x car, as well as our other vehicles.

June 14th, 2003 10:22 PM #851) Mobil 1 full synth for gas engines (5w50 and 0w40 available locally, i've also used 15w50 tri-synth from US)
Tried LiquiMoly 5w40 full synth- got good mileage.
2) Mobil Delvac 1 full synth for diesels- 5w40- the best full synth for diesels AND gas too! API rating CI4, CH4, SL, SJ.

June 15th, 2003 04:05 PM #86I am currently using Mobil 1 with SuperSyn 0W-40 API SL (from the U.S.) for the Mazda 323 Familia 1.6L, Corolla 1.6L 4A-FE, and Adventure 2.0G. No complaints, very easy on starting, and very little consumption in-between oil changes. Several notches superior to Mobil 1 tri-synthetic formulation. If you have access, go for it.

Engines also work harder, right?
