    HI guys need your help,

    my ride is toyota corolla 94 automatic gli 4afe engine.

    lately kasi nahirapan humatak kahit sa flat, nagkakaron ng nginig between 1000~1500 rpm. parang mamamatay pero intermittent ito.

    Then pina chk ko sa talyer, tune up-timing palit ng spark plug, andun pa rin ang nginig, papitik pitik, kahit naka P lang, pag kinargahan mo ng aircon nagkakaron din pero minsan nawawala. rpm at idle is at 800~850 with aircon, pero pag pinatay mo aircon umaabot ng almost 1000rpm.(baka sira na raw yung idlle-up ng aircon kaya ganito kataas, pero ok lang ito bago pa man mangyari yung nginig) then ni rebulusyon ng matagal, nawala naman yung nginig. then inuwi ko na.

    After 1 week bumalik yung nginig, so dinala ko ulit sa talyer, ok naman consider as back-job. Tthen ginawa ni replace muna yung hi-tension wire, umige na naman,. pinahiram muna sa akin, pakiramdaman ko raw muna.

    So umuwi na ako , after 3 hrs of driving, ayan na naman sya. hayyyy, pag nanginig * 1000~1500 hirap sya humatak lalo na pag galing sa pagkakahinto., ni re-rev ko muna talaga.

    Ano po pa kaya ng problema??

    facts.:
    newley change oil 1 week before manginig ( pteron ulton xtra 20w40)
    gas-full tank 1 day before manginig
    atf-replaced last nov 2008 smeel, not burned, color reddish(castrol atf)

    please help! possible cuases bakitt intemittent ang nginig kahit naka P, walang aircon. pero di naman po sya namamatay.

    Check the EGR valve to make sure it is closed at idle. Inspect the engine for vacuum leaks and check the exhaust system and catalytic converter to see that they are not plugged. And 20w40 oil are too heavy on your 4 banger, use 10w30 or 5w20.

    salamat po sa advice, sabihan ko po yung mechanic about this. pagbalik ko sa sabado. busy kasi sa trabaho eh.

    ok lang po ba na 10w40 na magnatec?? medyo namamahalan kasi ako sa synthetic 5w30 or 10w30.

ano po ba dahilan ng pagiging palyado makina??
