just try to 'feel' it. normally, * 1,500-2000 rpm's would do. saka try to maintain a constant speed by conserving momentum and take a research on what is the max torque of the engine then use it to your advantage. under rev also wastes fuel as do with over revving.

I usually upshift at 1500-1800 rpm between gears, then pagdating sa 5th gear, maintain lang at 2000 rpm.

well based on experience , compared sa gas engine mas maganda ang acceleration ng diesel pag dahan dahan yung pag depress mo ng pedal tapos may certain rpm cya na mararamdaman mo na andun ung torque eh , yung feeling na humihila siya , i think mine comes from the 2000+-2500+ rpm.

mas tipid than shifting gear at 3000rpm

conduct an experiment. my 4JH1-TC is at its best in between 1500-2000 rpms. 1500 rpms on normal driving, then when there is a need to kick the turbo, then steady at 2000 rpm. yes, having a steady foot on the accelerator helps.

lower consumption is gained mostly through lower revs. keep revs down to as low as is practical

bakit nga mga jeepney drivers, on/off sa gas pedal? gusto nadidinig yung pito ng tambutso nila?
