Right. Always do a regular change oil, what was given and stated interval in your vehicle owners manual. Panigurado, it will never happen like that.

in my opinion, i-disassemble ang makina hanggang sa crankshaft. then decide on the next move. too early to decide kung hanggang jan lang sa may tappets, camshaft ang nakita.

Since you're changing the engine, change the assorted parts already (gasket kit, water pump, thermostat) and keep whatever parts you can get from the old engine as spare.

Ganda sana kung naka-score instead ng 1.8L engine instead of a 1.6 :D

Our 2007 Altis is at 120,000kms, runs on LPG and has a change oil every 5K (mineral). Compression is good and no signs of sludge when i checked before.

isip muna bro. i highly suggest reading a similar case sa Altis club zz (pa member ka sa site). It is a good read and well documented, may pictures din. tumirik sa SLEX, ang ending kelangan bumili ng bagong cylinder heads. parts pa lang 38k na, labor/cleaning 16k + miscellaneous pa.

    Hi guys!

We opted for an easy way out kaya replace engine na lang and yun nga ano bang malay namen sa makina, also we will not keep the car anymore we'll sell it after ito maayos.

Mabawi man lang yung nagastos sa repair. Since ang hirap lagyan mg value yung car kung ibenta as is.

Problema pa pala, nawawala yung orig na CR neto.

Need ba yun pag nag request kami ng replacement of engine sa CR?

Paano ba? Request muna kami ng CR

Then after tsaka pa lang kami mag request ng engine number replacement? Or pwede isang lakaran na lang yun?
