2003 crv m/t

hi fellow tsikoters..

its been a while since i last post here..

but i need you help, opinion, idea and comments..

am planning to purchase 2ns hand 78km (Ram) 2003 CRV M/T

we all konw naman na 2003 CRV has 2.0 liter of engine..

my question here is sa mga naka CRV na kung hows the mile per liter in city driving and highway.

also ano ba mga sirain ng 2003 CRV?

any inputs would be greatly aprreaciated..TIA

We have acquired 2003 crv m/t w/ 51k odo reading and its been 1 yr already since we bought it and it's running for 66k my findings w/ our acquired crv are:

-Aircon is low quality (we change the compressor)
-Gauge is malfuntining as to temp
-We replace the right t-joint (di ko lam kung ano tawag dun) of tire
-Matigas ang clutch, you will use to it pero promise ang tigas ng clutch
-Central Window is malfuntioning

As to engine wala naman problem except for loose relay from battery to alternator kaya nung kakakuha lang namin eh nabwisit ako dahil madals ayaw umandar un pala loose wiring lang..tsk

Consumption if you pocket is deep be prepare for an avergae 7km/l in city drving and 11-13km/l highway driving (no vtec engage)

Overall ok siya na vehicle if may spare diesel vehicle ka for daily use.(except kung deep pocket nga)

Recommendation: Worth to buy but not worth to use (costly sa gas eh). If you have around 500-600 i go for tucson,rav 4, or everest

I don't own a CRV but I know some people who do and they say the consumption averages 6-7km/liter. Not advisable for a daily driver in these hard times especially with the gas prices soaring.

Hi its me again..question lang po ulit..

napansin kolang po kasi yung sound ng engine ng CRV 2nd GEN ko ay parang may clek clek clek clek sound..

my frist opinion was tapets..pero sabi ng mechanic ay hinde ganun sound na tapets..

my 2nd opinion naman ay yung chain (Timing belt) pero sabi ng mechanic hinde rin ganun sound nun..

my mechanic findings ay yung injectors raw, hinde na raw calibrated yung spray ng gas..

is it possible na injector nag cocause ng sound nayun?

HELP!

i think its the tensioner bearing, or drive belts, nagpalit na rin ako nun, same rattling sound

is your ride the same as mine? CRV 2nd Gen?

when you say drive belt you mean fan belt that runs the alternator? or you mean the chain (Timing belt?)..

sorry..kinda iliterate po ako sa terms po..
