you don't soak your engine too long in dirty oil. if it needs to be changed, change it at the prescribed service interval regardless what oil or how expensive your oil was.

Maybe. I don't really know, just thinking out loud hehe. But I'm sure fuel economy improves with lower viscosity oils. Yung lang, with eventual fuel dilution during use, the oil shears down to a lower viscosity which may not be enough protection for the engine. Sabi ni BITOG.

so i will just use 10w30 mineral oil for my 4afe because its an old engine ??? if 10w30 synthetic is thinner than mineral equivalent then it will possibly introduce leak on my old engine ????

For tractora ok mga ganyan viscosity.

If there's an engine leak, have the gaskets replaced, it's not the engine oil's fault.

many years ago, we replaced our 20W50 mineral oil with mobil 1 synthetic. the engine leaked. we put back the 20W50. the leak stopped.
sometimes, the observation simply shouts too loud, you just have to overlook the logic.

If yung dalawang numerical figures ay bumaba or tumass (Currently using a 15W40) ano immediate effect nito sa engine during rest and running. Sorry might have been answered in some other threads. TIA.

Yehey got it explained already by Mr. G.
