My battery has been in use since 2001 and I never have any problems with it so far. It has boosted my friends' cars already and still remains strong. If ever I have problems I can always call MB Roadside Assistance any time, any day and they can ship me a good battery (MB) to exactly where I am (stranded or not), and this battery has the same quality. The service is free, just the labor is paid for (maybe a good tip also) and of course I'll pay for the brand new battery.
One of the perks of owning an MB in the US free roadside assistance for the life of the car even if you're not the first owner.

Typically, ang warranty ng battery is 1 year, ibang mahal ng brands, parang 18 months. Kung tatagal ito ng 2 years, sulit na. Kaso hanggang gumagana pa, sige lang, para lalong mas sulit. Hindi naman masisira ang sasakyan natin pag mahina na ang battery. Wag lang sira, baka idamay ang alternator and regulator.

sa last vehicle ko (revo), it lasted for three years....
it did show signs like harde starting, parang pumipiyok ang busina etc....
pag ganito na...dapat palit na.
especially kung madalas kayong mag-out of town and there's no battery store around....

I wait for signs of weakening, then I have it checked. Usually, palitin na by then yung battery. Mahirap nga naman kapag talagang patay na, AT pa yung oto ko. But usually, my batteries last much longer than the warranty period, (around 3+ years) so sulit na rin.
