my car is an old toyota corolla (1990 model) smallbody, its my daily drive car. I drive 40-45 mins. going to work in the morning and about the same travel time at 6pm going home. Alternator is a surplus that came from a honda car, my daily route is always at the mabuhay lanes with only about 500 meters of edsa...what do you think Doc?

if the battery outlives the warranty by a significant margin, say, 6 months, then we're good.
if the battery dies 2 weeks after the warranty expired, then i'd say "that's amazing technology!"

my champion battery (cheap motolite variant) lasted 4 years. car was mostly highway driving.
my other champion, in my city car, wherein i turn the engine off during long traffic waits, died 4 weeks after its 12 month warranty.

well if my memory serves me right, it only has 14 months warranty, so i'd say it was a reeaaally good run...

    Very true doc.

Stop and go traffic and frequent short trips will lessen battery life significantly.

7 years on my Dad's Mercedes Benz 300D. 3SMF pa gamit niya na battery haha. Tipid na tipid rin yung gamit ng battery niya like turning off the headlight when idle for a few minutes.

normally, my first comment would be, "perhaps you do not know how to do it".
but as it's ninja saying palpak nga...
what seems to be the problem, at hindi kumakapit ng wire?
