hi there, i was thinking of having one installed, my car is a mitsu outlander v6. I have some questions and would like to ask the help of the community with them. Thanks guys!

1] Can anyone share an actual user experience vis-a-vis the chip installed on a v6 outlander?

2] Any encountered problems or issues with the chip system?

    Again, thank you very much.

    1. Not with that particular engine... but typically, from refining the stock maps, you will gain between 5-25 hp... depending on how well-tuned the engine is. Usually, stock maps are conservative in the mid-range, so highest hp gains will be around 3000-4000 rpms, at about 15-25 here.

    2. The Unichip may sometimes not mesh with the engine... but this is rare... in such case, you get a full refund if they can't make it work. Also, modern closed-loop tuning sometimes relearns around the Unichip, bringing your power in the closed-loop portion of the tuning map back to stock. "Closed-loop" running often occurs at 4000 rpm and below at light throttle (1/4th gas pedal or so), where the computer continually adjusts your fuel maps to provide better economy and emissions. If your car has a very aggressive closed-loop function, Ferman can just leave the fuel maps in that area untouched and focus solely on adjusting your timing for optimum power.

    Triton, yes, it's EFI.

There's a turbo Altis running one... also.

Niks, remember the term you used "pigrich" i think our triton is doing so now. Fc downed to 3.4 per liter (identical route for 7 months) from almost 4.5.

    where did you bought yours?

The Unichip? Speedlab is the only supplier.

But if it's just the fuel you're interested in, I suppose a tuner could make a simple air-fuel controller work with the van.

    GH,

so there would be a baseline dyno and after ECU dyno?

what the difference between the 30k unichip and the 49k with that extra module?

That would be simple, so yes. With the unichip installed, your engine can be measured with the unichip settings at zero. Then later, measured again at optimum settings.

    Oh, around 19K ... hehehe

    Which module would that be?
