    regarding your indicator, pls. do check the siding beside your door, maybe the button wash push accidentally, maybe its one of the reason why the indicator light doesn't go off.

    If pushed and stucked, the circuit will be open, the indicator should be off.
    To TS, you need basic electrical knowledge to understand and how to look for the cause of this problem. If you have also some technical skills, try to remove
    the door switches and examine them and the wires that are connected one at a time to look for obvious defects.
