if this is the thermo switch, the radiator fan should engaged when i remove the socket, right?
pag binunot ko ayaw mag-on ang radiator fan eh. hindi naman ako nago-overheat.
pero gumagana radiator fan pag nag aircon ako. (condenser fan and radiator fan are working simultaneously).
ano kaya problem? relay?
this car is from civic es (2002 model).

asus,
there are only two possibilities: it is either temperature gauge sending unit or a fan thermoswitch. either way, that should be a grounding type switch or grounding type thermistor. if you connect this to ground, you will either make the temp gauge move or make the fan relay click to ON to attempt powering up your radiator fan(windows r grammar)

Choice I would have made as well.
