April 20th, 2018 07:25 PM #1My Avanza's Motolite Gold battery has just past the 21 month warranty. It's still working well, but I tried to open it and it looks like it needs more fluid. So I bought an Absolute distilled drinking water and added fluids on it.
Is it OK to do that on a maintenance-free battery just to extend its lifespan?

Yup, that’s perfectly ok to top-up fluid in a MF battery. It will actually prolong its life further.

April 20th, 2018 09:19 PM #4Is it mandatory that battery distilled water be used? Shouldn't a regular drinking distilled water suffice when refilling MF battery?
