badkuk, dapat sa body ground ng discharged car, not the donor car. But technically it doesn't matter coz the chassis ground for both cars is the whole body itself.

hmmm... napagusapan na lang din naman ang bulge... my experience sa motolite, nagkakabukol talaga yung battery. even newly bought ones after a few weeks may bukol na agad.

to badkuk: anong brand ba ng battery yan? a battery bought jan. 2004 is relatively new and should be covered sa warranty...

No need to do that, yung positive and negative ng batteries na ang naka-connect sa jumper cables eh, the body is of both cars are connected to the ground ng batter din naman, essentially connected na yan. Pang-start lang naman di ba? ;-)

Unless if your car is an automatic.
