Price & Brand of a good Alternator for Corolla Xe 94 model.

Yung oto ko po 94 Corolla Xe 2e engine, lagi po kasi umiilaw sa dashboard yung battery symbol,lalo na kapag ginamit ko busina, tapos hihinto ako off ko engine tapos start ko hanggang sa mawala yung ilaw s dashboard, ramdam ko din hindi nag charge talaga kapag naka ilaw yung battery symbol sa dashboard.. dinala ko na sa auto-electrician sabi alternator daw,ngayon baka raw ic, or carbon lang, kung ic daw nagloloko mas mabuti bumili na ng alternator bnew o surplus. Sabi ng mdami mas ok surplus mga magkano po kaya kung surplus? Or ok din po ba b-new? Anong brand kaya ok? At baka po may alam ng price na din.. Tyia po mga bro.

Hi sir ung mga surplus na alternator nasa 1.5k ang presyo, not sure though how long the surplus alternator would last.

Before I was able to buy a bnew/reconditioned alternator in ace hardware for 4.5k pesos 8 years ago and it still hasn't been replaced.
Not sure if they still sell alternators in ace hardware.

Ok sir xtian, thanks sa reply tingin nga me sa ace hardware. Napapaisip nga ako kung surplus or b-new/reconditioned na alternator bibilhin ko.

naka bili ako sa evangelista 1.7K kasama na ang kabit.

4 years na hindi pa nagloloko..surplus japan.

I bought a brand new alternator for 4.5k, however, battery warning stays on kahit tumatakbo na ang makina. I even have it replaced for a new one by the supplier but still the same warning light stays on... Can anybody give me some advice here about this problem. thanks!

was the guy who installed yours, an alternator guy? or was he just another hand in the shop?
baka kasi, the new unit is slightly modified vis a vis the older model, and needs some connection or modification...?

i don't know...
kasi, kung bago nga siya at ay tanggal - salpak lang yan...
unless, your problem isn't the alternator but something else?
