is it ok to convert 2 batteries into one?

fellow tsikoteers, ask ko lang kung ok ba i convert to single 3sm battery ang '04 hi ace super grandia na ang original ay dalawang 2sm battery? ang hirap kasi mag check ng tubig lalo na kung hindi maintenance free. and ang sikip ng pwesto, lalo na sa mga battery cables. if pwede pls recommend kung saan ok mag pa convert, im in manila.

2 pcs 2sm battery in series or parallel? i bet parallel which is 12 volts....ok lang as long as 12 volts.

it is in series connection, because aside from the positive connection in battery A, the negative cable is attached to battery B, then a short jumper cable was attached to both remaining terminal of battery A and B.

your system is running on 12/24 volt system. the 24 volt is for starting, the 12 volt is for your other electrical loads. your best option is to use a gel type battery that do not need topping off of battery water on the more inaccessible battery. protect your terminals with vaseline to prevent corrosion on the battery post as well as the battery clamps
