Nissan Sentra S3 Tach problem please help

good day newbie here, i have my nissan series 3 SS 96model , ang problema erratic ang tach even the engines doesnt start , naka ON lang ang key but it keeps flickering pa din
pinatingin ko na sa mekaniko, sabi nya distributor may leak,palit seal, but still ganun padin, although may point sya kasi andun yung sensor nya pero di padin na solve problem ko,
One more thing once matagal ng nag run ang engine ayos na naman TACH ko...any input mga boss?????

thanks bro,ill check the site...btw.. i did cleaning on the IACV, MAF and throttle body,
for additional info, di naman nagbabago idling ng engine, yung tach lang talaga
erratic even the engine is shut off, key is ON,
