need help: unstable/low rpm

Mga sirs need your help po sa problema ng car ko. Unstable/low ang rpm pag inistart po. Ang reading is from 1000 to 500 then settle po sa 600. Base po sa nababasa ko po dito sa forum, dapat po yata rpm should be at 750. Car ko po is exalta 2002 a/t. Marami pong salamat.

Kelan ang last tune-up ng sasakyan? Kung natune-up na at hindi pa din maganda ang idling...check/clean MAF sensor and idle air control valve (IACV). Also check the rubber hoses from the hydrovac, baka may butas or leak na pwedeng magcontribute sa erratic idling.

Sir, thanks for the reply, and pardon me for this very newbie question. If say, tune up ano po ba ang kelangan na gawin sa sasakyan? just changed the spark plug last june 210. Marami pong salamat uli.

Aside from changing the spark plugs, you also change the oil and oil filter. Clean (or replace kung masyado na madumi at maitim) the air filter element. Check/clean/adjust brakes. Also check and refill if necessary all vital fluids (transmission fluid, brake fluid, radiator coolant, power steering fluid, etc.)

Sir, all the things you mentioned except sa change ng air filter ay ginawa po sa car last May 2010 (not june as stated in my previous post). Dalhin ko po sa mekaniko itong sasakyan bukas. Marami pong salamat sir sa reply.
