February 12th, 2009 12:04 PM #2hanap ka ng shop na may scanner na capable to read and display codes and data.
or go back to the toyota dealership and make a suggestion to monitor all the sensors that may set the cooling fan to turn on .
these sensors are the best bets;
coolant temp sensor or thermoswitch,A/C signal received by computer ,
or it's just the cooling fan circuit problem itself ( possible wire or relay problem)

Pinagawa mo na ba before yung sasakyan mo?
Some mechanics kasi, pag nagloloko yung thermoswitch, ganun ang ginagawa.

What is the problem if your aux fan runs before starting the engine?
But yeah, 2 lang ito, either relay or thermostat.

The most likely cause if your electric fan relay is stuck in the closed position. (Better to be stuck in closed and fans always on, then stuck in open and the fans never turn on)
A bad temperature sensor can also cause this problem, but the stuck relay is much more likely.
Typically the thermostat can contribute too but it has nothing to do with the fans being always on, unless it's overheating
Choice I would have made as well.:nod:
