2.5 years is too long to keep a battery. You should replace every 1.5 to 2 years. Our Crosswind was fine up until last week, then it wouldn't start. Turns out the battery just died.

There might also be an issue with your alternator (kaya?) Even if your battery is weak, the car should still be able to run... ???

    Ang pagbalik ng comeback...

one good sign kung palitin na battery mo is to try to use your power windows to pull down and pull up your windows w/ the engine off but the switch turn to "ON" position. yung aandar lang radio and other electricals like the power window. Pag hirap na syang pa-akyatin yung windows mo mahina na baterya mo. pwede din testingin mo yung headlights mo sa gabi, turn it on w/ the engine off. pag medyo malabo na, ayun mahina na nga, pero medyo subjective nga lang

Yung battery ng crosswind is supposed to be warrantied up to 18 months or 1 1/2 years. But my 1st battery took about 2 1/2 before I had it replaced and it was still working at that time, except one time when I left the air blower ON while I was taking a nap in the car, then yun, ayaw na mag-start. One trick you could do to prolong the life of your battery, tanggalin mo yung sticker na cover nung maintenance free battery then buksan mo yung mga refilling holes. Refill mo ng distilled water those slots na medyo kulang na, then put the sticker back.

Just have your battery, alternator and overall charging system checked and see which is causing problems.

If you have additional electronics such as subwoofers, amplifiers, etc. then that could also contribute to added load on the charging system. Additionally, overwattage bulbs also increase demand on the charging system.

Battery terminal/s probably came loose, resulting in high voltages as no charging load is applied on the alternator.

Series connection is bad for your vehicle electricals as voltage is doubled. Parallel jumper connection is the correct thing to do.

2.5 years is too long for a regular battery on a diesel engine.
You can ask any battery sales outlet to check your battery and charging system for free.

Old batteries tend to die faster at cooler wathers like it is now.

You should count yourself lucky that your battery lasted as long as it did. Get a replacement asap. Motolite batteries have an odd way of dying as soon as the warranty is over. I'm a motolite user since it is convenient to just give them a call to get your battery replaced but the next time I need a new battery, I'm getting an Amaron.

ISUZU CROSSWIND - battery replacement ba ito?
