Sa mga naka subok na...
Given:
- Car is parked after being driven for about 15 mins (engine is not running). Yung tipong magsusundo ka tapos maaga ka naka rating.
- Battery is 3SM, 8 months old, good condition.
- Alternator is stock 60Amps ata yun and in good condition.
- Charging is good, in-dash voltmeter reads around 13+V most of the time.
- Audio is 6 speakers (2 front tweeters + 2 front + 2 rear) + amps + 10" subs and volume is ... say nearly halfway.
Question:
Mga ilang minutes safe mag sounds na naka off ang engine?
I appreciate your shared thoughts and experiences in advance.

I appreciate the scientific response sir jick.cejoco. I am sure it is the right approach so leme try to get a specialist who could do it for me. or could there be some spec printed on the battery itself that would tell me such. If there is, how do we read it? Unfortunately I do not have an ammeter and my VOM on reads a max of 10A w/c could get fried.

January 31st, 2010 08:45 AM #4Battery has a rating that is called Reserve Capacity, usually a 3smf battery has over 120 minutes of capacity drawing 25-amp, until the voltage drop to 10.5V, but a here is a rough estimate of battery charge left 12.6V full, 12.4 3/4, 12.2 1/2, 12.1 1/4. for a safe start-worry try not going below 1/2 charge or 12.2, for me, my with 2-12inch 250W subwoofer car full blast i don't go over 10-15min on a 2smf battery.
