note taken sir yebo....and might as well upgrade the terminals to quick release as sir lowbenz mentioned. anybody know a good quality battery charger and its price?

yup.. good advice.. I have a 1 year old 3SM battery na hindi nagamit... nilagay lang namin on top of a wood box.. para hindi grounded.. or malapit sa sahig... after opening 2 months ago.. malakas-lakas pa siya.. unfortunately sabi ng motolite.. hindi na daw siya 100% working.. around 80 na lang daw kasi nga na stuck for a long time.

4 months lang daw ang buhay ng battery after releasing from the factory.. after nun it starts to degrade.. -- sabi nila...

So can anyone offer an advice how to properly store a car battery? Would it be practical to use the old battery ( considering malakas pa naman) and just store the new one until the first one gave up? Thanks very much!!
my suggestion: use new one since may warranty sya and ticking na ang lifespan nyan (may shelf life po ang batt, non maintenance free (n-MF) is 1yr dry charged and Maintenance free (MF) is 6 months after production)

then dispose properly nalang iyong old one and charged to experience nalang to have the car checked muna by a qualified tech before ordering replacement parts...
