I have bad experience with GS it dies out after 8 months and the store can't give me replacement...sa inis ko binagsak ko sa concrete yung battery at sabay iniwan na lang. From then on I only buy locally made batteries which they can really give me after sales support. Natutulungan ko pa local industries and local employment.

I was at a big battery shop last night and they are selling me Motolite Excel 2SM maintenance free at P3K less P250 for trade in of my old 1SM and comes with 15 months warranty. The dealer is confident that they can give outright replacement in case I got a faulty battery within the warranty period.

If you want peace of mind with regards to warranty go for locally made batteries like Motolite and Outlast.

My Avanza's stock GS battery (low-maint) is still going strong, going 3 years old this February.

GS may be good brand but the big question is the after sales support which is a big no no in my experience.

BTW, if you are looking for a good performance battery, it should have 11 Plates per slots.

Pag na-colonize at na-dumb down mo na ang mga tao, they will self-destruct. Afterwards, here you go cheerfully stuffing their mouths with your supposedly superior products like a Vulture.

Maganda naman ang products ng Motolite and we've always used Motolite Gold. The last one worked well for 5years. Meron din dito na Motolite Enduro and it still works after 4yrs. Since laging Bosch ang binibili namin for our construction equipment/tool needs, I just wanted to try Bosch batteries kaya ako bumili nun.

Trying out foreign brands is okay but saying that our local products suck is another matter. I would rather buy a locally made product than those na galing China or SE Asia whenever possible. Mas matino di hamak ang craftsmanship ng mga pinoy.

Also, kung Japan Technology ang GS, ibig sabihin, di yan gawa sa Japan. It's probably made in China lang kaya kailangan pa sabihin na Japan tech.

I always check ang preferred those with the most number of plates on each row (11 plates the better) Dun ka lamang pagdating sa reserved power.

Yap.. i agree.. that's one way to choose the best battery for our lovely car.. GS 2SMF mayroon 13-15 plates per cell..

Mayroon GS 3SMF hanggang 15-17 plates per cell..
Sa ibang battery minsan 9 minsan 10 plates lang..

More plates more power ! I definitely agree.

    Regards.

Been hearing GS has more plates, but we can't find sites that says about how many plates does this product has?

    For comparisson:

Motolite Enduro has 9 Plates and has 15 months warranty
Motolite Gold has 11 Plates and has 21 months warranty
Motolite Excel has 13 Plates and has 24 months warranty

So anyone knows how many Plates GS has? and warranty coverage?
