Sayo siguro since ulyanin ka na, you need the reminder.
kahit ano pa sabihin mo o pano mo paikut-ikutin ang sitwasyon, its there for all of our safety and should not be disabled...

right from the factory we can opt out not to install that and would save us billions of $$$, but we care about the humans who operate this vehicles thus install this safety stuffs...

    This is my safety...

Pipe down Stigg ma. Even jumbo jets gives pilots the ability to mute warning or caution beeps. It's NOT the same as ignoring what it is reminding you of.

Lelax palekoy. In the mid eighties we had a lot of the talking cars(thanks to Kit of Nightrider). Some cars say" the door is ajar". Tupit, the door is a door[emoji3]

And we're still here alive and talking about it

No one's really forcing you to get out of your cocoon man, if you need the chime/buzzer reminders then so be it.

    Update ko lang ito.

Successfully disabled the key chime/buzzer reminder just a while ago. No wires needed to be cut, unfortunately though some panels had to be removed.

    Here it is:
    1. Remove the fuse cover below the steering column to give you some space later.

    2. You will need to remove the steering column cover, it has 3 screws - 1 at the bottom and 2 right beside the stalks.

    2.a. Bottom screw

2.b. Screw beside the left stalk, the other one would be in a similar position by the opposite stalk.

    3. Just unplug the key door trigger, the plug with the red and blue ink shown in the picture

    another pic with it unplugged

That's it! Instant ♫♫ Silent Lucidity ♫♫ Haha!
By the way, this is for a Toyota Fortuner. I bet this would work on a hilux too.

Sounds like mas matinding hasel pa yan, reaching then swapping belts everytime. Anyway, if you read the thread carefully, what i needed help with was for the key reminder buzzer.
