September 10th, 2020 12:42 PM #1963it would appear,
peoples' choice of batteries is not of the same basis.
while some folks prefer brand green because it has a reputation of longevity,
or brand X because of initial financial advantages,
or brand Y because "they do not know any better",
others buy the big M because of ease of acquisition.Last edited by dr. d; September 10th, 2020 at 12:44 PM.

It's because that "M" battery always picks the most inopportune time and place to fail. The M people knows that and they're cashing in on both their batteries' relatively poor service life, at the same time, cashing in on customers for "premium" delivery service.
Their business model: You pay for a product that will put you in a jam and then you pay more money to get you out of it.

September 10th, 2020 01:19 PM #1966they certainly have thought things thru.
they provide a service to fill the needs that they helped to create.
yung isa naman,
" pang-matagalan ito, but when it fails, 'you're on your own' ".
heh heh.
actually,
the M is quite predictable.
expect it to fail within 2 months after warranty lapse.
it is good practice to replace it once warranty lapses.
like my colleague.
she never had battery problems again, since she started the practice.
some pilipino car owners kasi,
they want to squeeze the very last electron from their batteries, before replacing it.Last edited by dr. d; September 10th, 2020 at 01:24 PM.

No issues in acquiring either Motolite or Amaron or Energizer on my end. The Amaron dealer is just outside the gates in my subdivision. I know personally two people where I can buy Energizer.
I gave up with Motolite long before. I am just disappointed that their batteries last within the prescribed warranty period. Like not much added value as you pay for 18-21 months so you get 18-21 months. For the same price, you get an Amaron that lasts much more than the warranty period.
