yes exactly po the case. thanks for all the inputs. i'm leaning more now towards a 2sm amaron just to compare with my current 3sm amaron and of course the price. original battery if i remember correctly was 2sm na gs brand. it lasted more or less 2years for me.

Disclaimer: Motolite's website is full of marketing jargon but does not provide relevant battery specifications so I had to rely on a third-party site for the figures. Take it with a grain of salt.

In case it's not obvious to everyone, you can't make an apples-to-apples comparison between different models from competing or even the same manufacturer based on the 1SM, 2SM, 3SM, etc. designation.

For example, the Motolite Excel 2SM has virtually the same Ah and RC as the Motolite Enduro 3SM and the Amaron Go 3SM (within the margin of error), but with the two latter batteries being physically larger.

To add, the Amaron Pro 2SM has almost identical characteristics as the Amaron Go 3SM, again, apart from the size difference.

maybe the "support staff" is what makes the battery bigger.
the plates may be fragile, and need additional support in order to last longer?

The generator battery of my wife's office died today. Referred them to an Amaron delivery nearby.

Yung 3sm ko sa everest just died down at 27 months. Di nagagamit dahil sa pandemic, every 3 weeks lang naipapaikot for 30 minutes.

That's actually really good! Longer than the warranty even with sparse use.

My Everest went through two Motolites each dying around 17-18 months, and this was with regular use!

The Amaron Hi-Life (21 months warranty) on my FXT was bought in March 2018. The one on my ASX was bought February 2019.

Both are still working and with no issues.

Amaron Go pala naka kabit sa akin.

replacement Go quoted at 6000 for 3sm and 5000 for 2SM including trade in na.
