Alternator/Battery Query

inoobserve ko pa eh, kasi mga 1 month ko rin hindi ginamit yung oto ko.. kaya yun tingnan ko muna baka di pa lang na cha charge fully yung battery :D

A similar case happened to me also, but in my case, pag bumubusina ako, humihina yung backlight nung gauges, pati yung radyo ko papatay-patay. What I really needed back then was a battery change. I was able to confirm this kasi a few weeks later, di na nagstart oto ko :shock: Warning sign na pala yung paghina :!:

that is really a sign of a weak battery......meaning that the alternator is not charging it full....you see...it works like this.......your alternator charges your battery.....hence.....to prolong your battery life.....you need a good alternator to supply the battery in order for it to be charged all the time by 100 percent......

I had all of these problems before......the solution.....I bought a 2sm calcium battery maintenance free......replaced my stock alternator....(which was giving me a mesely 60 ampere rating).......with a higher rating alternator........(120 amperes).....and kapoooooof! problem solved.........:D

Magkano kuha mo sa altemator mo? Nag 2sm na rin ako ako e :D

the alternatro cost me around 2,500 Php.....including installation......

I'm not experiencing any problems naman right now as far as dimmimg of headlights/HU Display or anything. just wanted to clarify that matter, preventive baga:mrgreen: Na try ko na rin several times na naka-on makina and the ff:

Headlight/parklights/fog lamps
HU
Amp
200W Inverter
DVD player/monitor

System was at full blast

was watching a movie then so im sure may mga dips talaga na mangyayari. awa ng diyos ok naman lahat hanggang makarating kami ng bahay sa QC from Tarlac.:mrgreen::mrgreen::mrgreen:

ako may 500/1 and 300/4 na amps and isang .5 na caps lang gamit ko Optima battery
pero alternator stock , no problem for the past 11 mo's .

sir, nung pina-install mo alternator mo ... sakto ba agad ang mountings? you said kasi you installed a higher rating alternator.

i plan on swithching to a higher power output alternator also ... problem ko is the mounting and the hydraulic/pneumatic lines installed at the back of the alternator... diesel kase ride ko eh... swak kya ang alternator ng starex sa besta?? ilan nga ba ang output ng starex alternator?

it will really depend on the mounting.....yung sakin....alternator ng MBenz.......120 amperes stock......nagpalit na lang ako ang bracket niya.....:D

as for the starex and besta.....am not sure....:D

sir neilsen nag-upgrade din kase ako ng alternator from 60 AMP to 80 AMP tapos palit na rin ako ng bagong battery Motolite ENDURO (maint. free) ok na kaya yon para i-power yung 2 amp (350 & 300 watts) ko or kailangan ko pang magdagdag ng capacitor sa sound setup ko...tnx...

2 sm ba yung pinalit mong battery? just in case you experience sudden battery drain......optional na magkabit ka ng capacitor......caps work as a reserve power source for your amps kasi.....para when giving that low bass punch.....hindi kakapusin ng voltage na kakainin ng amp mo.....observe it muna.....pero i suggest that you get a higher rating alternator....ranging from 100 Amperes to at least 120......then pag humina agad ang battery mo.....then go and buy those caps.......:D

sir neilsen 2sm yung battery ko... ok naman sya kapag nag-i-start ako one click lang palagi...pero kahapon habang nag-wa-warm up ako (with my radio on) namatay na lang bigla yung makina, then start ko ulit ok naman sya one click lang...yung pag-patay ng makina indication ba yon ng kinakapos pa ng elec. power yugn kotse ko? tnx...
