    The hose that comes with the "kit" or gauge. Usually it looks somewhat like the air hose used in aquarium tanks but slightly thicker to prevent the tube from collapsing under vacuum pressure.

    Even that hose is still vulnerable in developing a hole or leak as it ages and becomes hard and less flexible when exposed to the heat of the engine bay.

    oil temp and oil pressure gages secure but no senders.......the salesman who supplied the gages to my parts dealer said that the sender for the oil pressure is the same as the one available. i smell a rat. i doubt that salesman's answer.
