In reality it's like they're almost in different segments, opposite ends of the subcompact segment.

In terms of size and specs, the CS35 Plus with a 160PS turbocharged 1.4L engine is really more of a Geely Coolray competitor but with a P100K lower starting price. For those curious, the CS35 Plus is roughly one foot longer than a Raize.

At this point, however, it just doesn't seem like many pinoys are willing to part with over 1.5M for a car with a Chinese badge.

Inchcape takes over Changan Auto in PH | Autoindustriya

Inchcape Philippines and Changan International have just announced that they have announced a partnership that will see Inchcape become the new distributor of the Changan brand here.
Inchcape has been the big news as of late after having just come in to the Philippine market as a joint venture with the CATS Group of Companies wherein Inchcape has the controlling 60% stake while CATS has 40%. The appointment as Changan’s distributor means Inchcape expands its portfolio that already includes dealerships and/or distributorships of Mercedes-Benz, Chrysler, Dodge, Jeep and Ram, Jaguar, Land Rover, as well as Mazda and Harley-Davidson.
