    well, just my opinion kase plastic pa rin ang kinabit kong replacement rather than the steel...

    yup sinabi rin sa akin ng mechanic yan.
    pero what started the overheat in the first place, sa tagal kong inisip kasi walang leak at yung sister ko ang madalas gumamit. alam mo naman tipong usual lady drivers, drive lang alam at la nang paki sa oil,fluid,coolants etc
    di siguro napansin ubos na yung coolant kaya bumigay ang thermostat housing.

    as long as palaging may coolant basta wala lang leak, okay ang both plastic or steel thermostat housing.

    side tip for others na mapunta dito, as recommended by other tsikoteers here - mas maganda 50/50 coolant at DISTILLED water kaysa sa pure coolant lang.
