No to AC DELCO!!!

bumili ako ng chevy spark panghatid sundo ng bata sa school...almost 3k km pa lang ang mileage, kahapon, pinadala ko sa dealer for check up kasi lagi nadidischarge yung battery. pero this april lang nagsimula yung problema. Void daw yung warranty. ang diagnosis nila, ay dahil pinalitan ko yung head unit kaya na-void yung warranty ng battery. Tanong ko lang kung talagang kasama sa pag-void ng warranty ang battery? kasi alam ko separate warranty ang battery eh. ang pagkakaintindi ko sa warranty booklet na binasa ko, separate ang warranty ng buong unit dun sa warranty ng batteries. 1 year or 10k km ang warranty ng battery, kung iba ng warranty period ang unit sa battery, separate sha. ang alam ko kasi pag nagchange ka ng head unit, mavo-void lang is alternator, starter and other charging system ng sasakyan. pero yung battery alam ko hindi sha mavovoid kasi separate sha ng warranty from chevrolet...tama ba ako? pakiclarify po. thanks.

AC DELCO ang battery, btw. 5 months pa lang, at almost 3k mileage only.

ac delco is a premium battery(europe), yung battery niya galing sa car dealer and hindi sa ac delco store or franchise store hence we have no idea if the battery that was put on you car is new, used, shelved for a long time or old, and even though ac delco is a good brand it is not impervious to lemons din same with motolite.(most probably that battery is not ideal for our environment)

di ko alam ang nakalagay sa owners manual ng auto mo at pinagusapan niyo ng agent mo regarding sa warranty hence i cannot comment specifically on that.

on my experience on our own car, once we changed the hu all the electrical warranty would be void(including the battery).

except toyota and mitsubishi car battery is not covered by the warranty but sa ibang brand ng car like suzuki or nissan may goodfaith warranty sila sa consumables

thanks sir sa clarification. at least hindi na ako makikipagtalo dun sa chevrolet. pero ang alam ko hindi po ako ang first na nagcomplain about ac delco, marami po sila dito sa start ng thread na to.and may nabasa po ako dito na rapide daw ang distributor dito sa pinas including chevy ph.

parang something fishy nga kasi rapide does not pratice good business courtesy, they might have bought the old stock of the ac delco batteries(guessing) and as for chevy... talagang masma after sales nila, although i cannot it is the same as now since iba na ang franchiser nila dito

yup that's why i edited users, gulat nga ako hehehehe ac delco is a premium brand in europe and north america i guess that battery is not tropicalized

maganda kasi ac delco dahil di sila gumagamit ng recycled lead which in theory would give you a longer battery life but do note that almost(except us made camaro, Tahoe and now the trailblazer and colorado made in thailand etc) all of the chevy products are made in korea hence yung battery is from korea where the climate is very different from us

1yr and 1mo. pa lng Chev Orlando ko, dead na agad ang battery. AC Delco ang batterry. 1 yr lang daw ang warranty according sa casa. Haayyy!

standard naman ang 1 year warranty sa battery for bnew cars. remember ang mga kotse matagal din nakastock yan sa factory tapos dealers kaya malamang matagal na din batteries na nakakabit sa kanila.

padaan lang mga sir, yan talaga ang nakalagay na battery..pero kung bibili kayo pwede nyo naming pa check ang manufacture date..meron kasi kaming case na almost 2yrs stock bago ibenta..mga naggaling sa labas.ditto sa Doha we check first manufactor date kung 2011 pa void na agad warranty.some costumer also asking same question baket ala pang 1 year ganun na.observe din naming na pag summer yan ang turture test..

With ACDELCO batteries, especially here in the Middle East, 1 year warranty lang talaga. Kapag less than 1 year at nagloko na, papalitan agad, no question asks. I used to be using ACDELCO for many years, basta bago mag-winter, nagpapalit na ako ng bago. Kasi pag-winter dyan na nagloloko ang ACDELCO batteries, pero kapag tag-init, very reliable.

Pero ngayon, VARTA SILVER dynamic 563 401 061 battery na ang gamit ko dito. Ayoko na ng ACDELCO.

Ano usual life ng AC Delco batteries niyo? All Trailblazers come with AC Delco batteries kasi. Pero so far, yung isang Trailblazer owner wala pang problema with his AC Delco battery. TB niya is already 1 year and 2 months old.
