They should have retained the signature taillight add simply add a modern touch to it.

It still has an old-school OHV valvetrain. At least the engine still has a good power-to-weight ratio and is cheaper to manufacture than its European and Japanese opponents with their highly-sophisticated DOHC heads...

The rear end's look has grown on me. The C7 Stingray is a worthy successor, imho.
the triumph of man over... man!, using the crudest of implements (by modern standards).
