top of the line variant is priced like that of the Vios and the City, but both its competitors have bigger engine displacements than the Sonic. Let's just wait for the final specifications of the Sonic if the price is really justified.

It has a 100hp 1.4L engine, but its specs are meant to compete with the top 1.5L and 1.6L models.
Features include 16 inch alloy wheels, 6-speakers, dual air-bags, ABS, fog lamps, power features, 60/40 split forlding rear seats etc.

Parang Rio lang, small engine, with a little less toys. Hopefully the small engine actually equates to good fuel economy.

It doesn't even few so underpowered compared to the 1.6L Ecotec used in Korean-made versions.

Just 14% more power, but the Aveo is not really heavy.

Based on the brochure, the unladen weight for the 1.4 MT sedan starts at 1173kg, 1.4 AT starts at 1200kg.

Its a bit on the heavy side (by B-segment standards), some 30kg heaver than a 1.4 liter Rio sedan (MT & AT) and much heavier than a Honda City 1.5 AT (1147kg)

It's not the lightest of its class, sure, but still performs decently. Also, considering the Honda City is not aimed to developed markets like the Aveo/Sonic, it's not so overbuilt to meet NHTSA standards...
