Well, there's already an answer for the fuel consumption thing... as per batang raon's suggestions.
I'm finding the station wagon version very appealing. I've seen it twice now at motorshow displays, and the amount of interior room is impressive. And it's supposed to have the reprogrammed engine already. (This is the word from GM).
Ang pagbalik ng comeback...

I'm probably extending my fuel because I'm always on SLEX and C-5 on my way to work and back, and I go home past rush hour so I only encounter traffic half of time.
But I also want to believe that I'm going past 10kms per liter because of Petron Xtra Unleaded and owned the newer and improved batch of Optras.

April 8th, 2006 12:14 AM #274The Optra is really not such a bad car except for its fuel economy woes. The problem is buyers in this price range are fuel consious wherein lies the problem. I hope to get the new reprogramed ECU on my next tune up. That's if i don't sell it and buy a honda jazz first. hehehe

Considering the price of the Optra Wagon A/T and cheapest Tucson A/T variant is not far off, the Optra starts to make good sense especially with its standard ABS and Airbag among other features not found on the Tucson.
