August 20th, 2011 11:29 PM #1I had a problem with my cruze after the 1st tune up * chevy service center.. After I got my car.. I had this malfunction light, after 4 hours of parking my batt is dead. they told me that my car's module broke because of my HID lights, and my warranty was void because i changed the lights. I really don't believe them coz I just purchased my cruze 6 months ago and had my HID the day after. Did they cause this malfunction? coz I never had this prob for 6 months before going to the service center.

That is the sad reality of changing your stock bulbs to HID, it can be considered as voiding the electrical warranty of your vehicle. An HID system may have lower wattage, but the amperage draw, specialy in start up is quite high. Did you splice any of your wires? DId you use any Wiring harness for the HID?
normally, i would feel for the e-bike and e-trike users, as "these are probably all they can...
