Just make sure that they have perfected the change they have to make on the location of the SD slot for perfect fit/mounting with the TBZ.

    TV TUNER
I'm Kinda turn off sa TV TUNER , interference when your TrailB is in motion. The Antena was installed inside across the upper part of the windshield so when it moves the pics is distorted. The growl of protest from wife is always there lalo na pag natiempo sa favorite local drama & she can't accept the explanation of the interference are caused by tall building, motor cars around us.

It's because your TV tuner is the analog type. You can upgrade yours to digital so that there would be no more interference.

You said upgrade, does it mean walk in or change the unit?

How much will it cost just to change the TV tuner (if possible) of my AVT unit from analog to digital?

Ask Winterpine if they have a digital TV tuner for AVT and how much. They own AVT. There's a possibility if you upgrade your TV tuner to digital, you'll only have ABS-CBN as your only channel. They're only channel transmitting digital signals as of the moment.

digital antenna will not work if your in the Philippines, for the simple fact that all the networks here in our country are not yet capable of sending digital signal... but if your in the u.s., japan, korea or u.k. it's a different story.

for our situation the best is to either to use diversity(antenna) or modify those antenna used in c.b. radios(it was already extensively discussed in some other thread)

    hope this help

side effect, not aesthetically pleasing to look at

ABS-CBN already transmits digital signals using Japan's ISDB-T standard, which was adopted by the NTC during the last months of the Arroyo government. Currently ABS-CBN is testing their digital signals through their DTB or digital tv box. Ito yung pinapacontest ni Ted Failon sa DZMM radio show niya. Signal can reach as far as Bulacan in the north, Dasmariñas, Cavite and Los Baños, Laguna in the south and Morong, Rizal in the east. Digital TV tuners can pick up these signals since they are not locked. In the coming months Studio 23, PTV 4, TV5 and DZMM TeleRadyo's digital signals will be unlocked can be picked up by digital TV tuners.

ABS is already doing a limited broadcast of digital tv. They cover the whole of metro manila and portions of neighboring provinces.
*numbah5 is correct, they are adopting the japan standard.
