BTW, I confirmed thru SMS with Chevy Philippines' AVP for Service and Aftersales that the dexos2 fully synthetic oil is already available in all Chevy dealers since last week. He even issued a circular regarding it. So *delta00 and *safala, looks like your service advisors tricked the 2 of you into using mineral oil, para every 5k kms kayo babalik sa kanila.
*numbah5, IMHO, i was not tricked by the service advisor on using the mineral oil. In the first place, I was the one who requested it for the following reasons:

    1. Cost-wise, I could change mineral oil four times versus one time for fully synthetic. Doing this is the best for any engine, always clean oil. This was confirmed to me by the technical manager of Chevrolet wherein he said that diesel engines generate too much dirt because the soot mix with the engine oil. Fully synthetic oil is best for gasoline engine, a much cleaner engine.

    2. Changing oil is only one PMS item. There are a lot more PMS items to do like checking/cleaning air filter, AC filter, checking leaks, lubricating other parts, tightening of nuts, etc. Since Manila is a stop and go traffic and lot of idling, it is recommended to perform 5K PMS not only to change the oil but checking other things.

    3. No doubt, others could still use fully synthetic oil and have it changed every 10K but our TrailB should undergo PMS every 5K on other things otherwise the warranty could be void.

Again, this is my honest opinion and this will be the schedule I will follow.

*numbah5 as per TCCI rep Christine: She checked their units that came this January and according to her it wasn't only all colorado's that came however the quantity of the trailB that got here was just too small that when they divided it kulang pa(Juno Cars has 4 dealers iba pa yung ibang dealers ng Chevy). The problem is, even she doesn't know when the next shipment will be baka daw this end of the month ng feb or march daw... hay. Anyways she will personally follow up my request for a unit sa Chevy Alabang and will personally call me if there are any feed backs regarding the movement of the vehicle. BTW very nice kausap mabait.

FYI! haba daw ng pila sa white.

I also have this message "water in fuel" since the first day I got my unit, they told me they will check on it on my 1K check-up...so far there has nothing un-ussual on the engine except the hassle on keep on clicking the menu button when it appears during start-up. Chevy Cebu was not able to fix it during check-up due to I was also in a hurry that time and promised they will find solution with this problem.

In so far everything are okey sa TrailB ko, performance wise matrapik or hi-way, the fuel needle seems steady sa full, driving 80 km yesterday (EDSA Mandaluyong, KalooKan, Commonwealth etc.) If Strada ang gamit ko w/ the above trips the fuel needle is already appreciable change.

One thing I noticed everytime I start the aircon " amoy basahan basa ang unang buga", gradually nawawala naman.

My HU GPS ( Papago) hindi ko parin matutuhan ang how to find the intended street that Im looking for, none existing of voice command still. On my forthcoming PMS as what numbah5 suggest to call the attention of the Tech. dept.Come Feb. I will get again new sets of Purchase Receipt, ubos na yung 2nd installment na bigay ng dealer.

Mitsubishi's SCV is really defective, used V-power diesel (now called Nitro) up to 15,000 kms and SCV still got damaged.
