with how the Colorado's pricing is going, the Trailblazer looks like just another pipe dream for me.

July 24th, 2012 09:22 PM #122wag mawalan ng pag-asa... pag failure ang Colorado baka mapa-isip sila sa mga future offerings nila kung sablay mga new car offerings nila, paano pa sila mag-survive?

July 24th, 2012 10:24 PM #124Always the pessimist, eh OB? If TCCCI treats Chevy like it's just trip lang nila, noong una pa lang they shouldn't have took over as the distributor of Chevrolet in the Philippines. That's not the way to do business and it's unethical. Since you gave the Orlando as an example, kaya naman ganyan ang price nun is because it has many features not found in the Innova V variant. Eh kung maglabas sila ng other variants na stripped down ng nag-iisang variant, and hindi naglalayo sa presyo ng Innova E and J variants, and packing more features than the 2 lower end variants of the Innova, tingin mo hindi pa rin bibili ng mga consumer? You haven't moved on from the stigma that befell Chevy in the past. TCCCI has been doing a good job in changing the reputation of Chevy here in the Philippines. The Cruze, while not as many as the Civic and the Altis, is nowadays a common sight on our roads. Mas marami pa ngang ganun kesa Focus. Sablay nga lang sila pagdating sa Colorado 4x4 LTZ because they stripped it of its most important safety features, and priced it very high. Who knows, they'll learn their lesson pagdating sa 2012 Captiva and the Trailblazer.

July 24th, 2012 11:16 PM #125puzzling pa rin kung paano mag-price itong Chevy... galing na nga Thailand di pa rin competitive price. akala siguro nila premium brand sila just look at the Thai prices for the Colorado and the F Ranger and compare it with their launch prices here

they should consider bringing in stripper variants, i believe the Orlando has potential na maging Innova beater if they introduce trim levels na pang tapat dun. Too early though for the Trailblazer to release a stripper model though. Pero sa Colorado Pick-up mag labas sila ng mas mababa.
Maybe theyre thinking too much na american brand sila.

trip trip lang yan covenant company na yan coz they own HARI also d'ba. if for example, Toyota gets top market share this year at 29K+ units sold, then Mitsu at 16K+ units sold, and Hyundai third. Hyundai + Chevy sales sa mata nun may-ari, greater than Mitsubishi sales na siguro.
who needs market share, if you can get more money dito sa Chevy. in the end, in the business sense, yun pera nalikom pa din ang importante. and so they have HARI functioning like Toyota / Mitsu, and they hav chevy that they can test the highest market prices
ganyan lang naman talaga gawain ng mapera. so yun bibili ng Chevy na mga ganyan, oh well yun kayo yun dun sa mas mataas nya profit making but still what you own is just a Chevy

July 27th, 2012 01:56 PM #130Also, i don't think Chevy can fill-up that gap between Hyundai and Mitsu. If Mitsu will top-off at 30-35k, tapos hyundai at maybe 25k units, di kaya ng Chevy ang 5k units for the year.
