    Probably not, since the Captiva and the Orlando already aim at a market chunk that could be taken by the Equinox (and it's also more expensive).

    imo, equinox can compete with the like of fortuner, montero, everest etc.

    Honestly, no. The Equinox can cost P2-2.5M when brought here especially that it comes from the US or Mexico. Cost prohibitive, and we have the Captiva

    i think its the all new Trailblazer (Colorado based) that should compete against these pickup based SUVs

    Exactly. Since the Equinox also doesn't have a diesel engine option it wouldn't be so suitable...
