Marami nang QQ... I see maybe three or four a day.
Give it time. People are in the "wait and see" mode. If no horror stories come out in the next few months, we may see more QQs on the road by the end of the year.
Ang pagbalik ng comeback...

i heard na isang tsikoteer daw naka kita ng QQ na pumalya sa daan. tumirik daw yung QQ. sa engine talaga ang tinitignan ng owner, hindi radiator. so hindi/ hindi lang nag overheat

Because people would rather buy a 2-3 year old 2nd hand car with an established brand.
That reminds me, saw a Chery Cowin in front of ADB at Ortigas Center the other day.
Didn't get to take a photo, but this is how a Chery Cowin looks like...
Its based on the 1991-98 Seat Toledo (VW Golf II platform)
