    US response to pandemic --> stimulus checks

    Americans went shopping on Amazon using stimulus money

    Asian manufacturers received so many orders

    high demand for container vans and ships -- cost of containers and shipping went up

    more than usual number of containers arrive at US ports

    port infrastructure couldn't handle it -- can't unload ships fast enough

    another problem is there isn't enough space to put the containers

    coz containers aren't leaving the ports fast enough

    coz there aren't enough truck drivers to move the containers out (as mentioned by Monseratto)

    supermarket shelves have many out of stock items

    coz the items are still sitting in containers

    Kwento nga ng contact namin sa US, wala ng gusto magtrabaho dahil sa stimulus nila.

    Pero sabi sa akin babawasan na daw yun stimulus nila from 600 weekly, gagawin na yatang 300 o 400 nalang.

    Uso daw dun ngayon may signing bonus na agad para maenganyo magtrabaho mga tao

    trillions of dollars of stimulus money went chasing goods driving up prices of everything

    from raw materials to shipping... lahat tumaas

    tayo sa Pinas we're experiencing the effect

    nagtaas ng presyo mga supplier so kailangan din magtaas ng presyo mga importer

    Kaya ito problema ko, nasanay ang tao sa binebenta for years na 2100 petot lang, next year, 3000 na :twak:
