palpak yung itinatawag dun sa number nila. the better/best solution is to buy an OFW sim card kasi automatic roaming yun. may extra sim card pa for you to leave to the person you most probably will text, piso-piso lang text nya sa iyo at pwede mo siya ma-text kahit wala ka na load.

same with me, Globe postpaid user, have not experience any problem in roaming, pag baba pa lang ng plane and after swiching off the airplane mode nakaka hanap na kaagad ng network

so, saan pala maganda magpapalit ng currency, then?

OK ba yung sa Trinoma (forgot the name. near BPI, going to stairways to SM North; marami laging tao doon) or doon sa Sanry's Greenhills?

Yes. Depending on the amount and currency. You have to call ahead. That's what happened to me (both bank and Czarina)

nagpapalit ako sa Sanry's Unimart Greenhills recently and no problems buying SGD. (I only bought a few of them)
