    Point taken MM!

Korek ka po dyan, we share the exact sentiments actually. We do own some units as well, and di biro mag-maintain. We do have a policy na dapat ang unit namin should not exceed more than 3 years, so far kinakaya pa naman.

We also try to explain the same thing sa mga clients with regards to our rates. I usually equate it sa current pamasahe going to their destination and multiply it with the capacity. The catch there is private gamit and you can take it as anywhere the renter would wanna go. As in parang sa renter yung vehicle throughout the duration of the rent.

Some wouldn't understand that we need to change oil, replace some minor parts, do the washing, maintain and see to it that the engine and a/c is in tiptop shape, aside from the monthly dues we need to pay like the vehicle amortization, office/garage rental, staff and drivers wages, things like that...

Its really no joke running a biz like this....

    dati kase sila school service

Hi vhenok, we're into same business pala, hope i would know you more....
if you are trying to let your van rented without a driver, matatalo ka dun, you know why....... kc kapag hindi mo tao ang pinaupo mo, they would definitely tell you na malapit lang ang punupuntahan nila without you knowing na saksakan na ng layo ang pinuntahan ng sasakyan mo. yung driver lang ang kikita instead of may-ari ng van. correct ka vhenok with regards to the change oil, maintainance, aircon, etc.....
sa totoo lang minsan ang renter sobrang dami ng mga demands na you need to give whatever their demands kasi SERVICE ang pinaguusapan dito..... QUALITY SERVICE.

BY THE WAY, ang natural way ng rental... 1 pick up point and 1 drop off point.....

D TAMA YUN. kasi parang magiging taxi ka na nun. after a whole exhausting day... maawa naman kayo sa driver.... ok lang kung magbibigay ng EXTRA.... coz the extra is not for the company naman its for the driver. kaso ung iba..., hindi malaman kung paano mang iisa.Tapos gus2 saksakan ng baba ng presyo. Come to think of it, icompute mo man din, kapag nag commute ka, u will pay naman din.

Hahahahahaha.....

    Mahirap talagang magHANAPBUHAY....

Hayyy!!! Been into that business too. Not sure of the rates ngayon. That was 5 years ago.

Honest cop dies while making ends meet

MANILA, Philippines -- This honest police officer met his death while trying to make ends meet.
Senior Superintendent Joven Bocalbos, 38, the deputy chief of police in Makati City was driving his passenger van along the northbound lane of Commonwealth Avenue in Quezon City at around 7:30 p.m. when five unidentified men declared a holdup, according to a police report.
While in the vicinity of the Fairview Market, one of the suspects took over the steering wheel and pulled Bocalbos to the back seat, while the other suspects took the cash, cellular phone, and other valuables of eight passengers on board the Nissan Urvan (XED-744), the report said.
The suspects made a u-turn and steered the vehicle to the opposite lane, the report said.
The armed men frisked Bocalbos and his passengers. When they found out that he was armed, one of the suspects shot him on the head, it said.
The suspects commandeered the van until Shaw Boulevard in Mandaluyong City, where they got off and escaped, the report said.
The passengers brought Bocalbos to the M-Tech Hospital in Makati City where he was pronounced dead on arrival. He is survived by his wife and three children.
The Makati City police chief, Superintendent Gilbert Cruz, said Bocalbos plied the Quezon Avene-Almar route every night before his 8 p.m. shift to earn a little extra.
"Pantawid gutom yan [It's meant to relieve hunger], to make ends meet," Cruz said in a phone interview, adding Bocalbos' children were still in elementary and high school.
"That's how it is for honest policemen. They work extra to augment the little they get from the government," said Superintendent Franklin Mabanag, chief of the Quezon City Police District (QCPD) Station 4 that investigated the incident.
The base pay of police superintendents is about P18,000, with allowances, and their gross pay could reach P30,000.
Mabanag said the motive for the killing was "plain robbery" and that investigators discounted the possibility that personal grudge was behind the slay.
"They killed him because he was a policeman. If it were personal grudge, the suspects would have killed him without robbing his passengers," Mabanag said.

    Bumibiyahe din ako. Esep-esep.

Well maybe, isama ko un me ari just in case.
